Rainbow Islands is a platform game where the protagonists Bubby and Bobby, now returned to human form, use rainbow magic to traverse islands and defeat enemies. Rainbows serve a dual purposeβ€”they eliminate foes on contact and can be used as platforms to reach higher areas. The game features themed islands with secret areas and ends with a boss encounter paying homage to Taito's Arkanoid.
