How Retro Chronica uses cookies

Short version: we only use cookies that make the site work. No tracking, no advertising, no third parties.

Cookies are small pieces of text a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember who you are between page loads, or remember a setting you chose. On their own they're neither good nor bad — it depends entirely on what a site uses them for.

✅ Cookies we use

Every cookie set by Retro Chronica is strictly necessary — it exists only to provide something you explicitly asked for (staying logged in, keeping a preference). None of them are used for tracking, profiling, or advertising, so we don't need to ask your permission for them under EU cookie law.

🚫 What we don't use

No analytics or statistics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics)
No advertising or marketing cookies
No third-party trackers or social media embeds

⚙️ Managing cookies

You can view, block, or delete cookies at any time through your browser's settings. Since every cookie on this site is strictly necessary, blocking them will affect the site's functionality — for example, you won't be able to stay logged in.

Note: we also use your browser's local storage to remember that you've seen the cookie notice bar, so it doesn't keep popping up. That's not a cookie, and nothing is read from it beyond a timestamp.
